Welcome to PBILL. By registering and using our GST billing software, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PBILL, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

PBILL provides:

• ✅ GST invoice generation and management
• ✅ GSTR-1 and GSTR-2B export/upload features
• ✅ Customer and item database management
• ✅ Business reports and analytics
• ✅ Cloud storage of your business data

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be a legitimate business owner or authorized representative
• You must provide accurate and complete information

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must keep your password confidential
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Pricing

4.1 Free Trial

• New users receive 4 months FREE trial
• Full access to all features during trial
• No credit card required for trial
• Trial automatically expires after 4 months

4.2 Paid Subscription

• Price: ₹600 per year (subject to change)
• Billing: Annual subscription
• Payment: Via PhonePe, UPI, Cards, Net Banking
• Auto-renewal: NOT enabled (manual renewal required)

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing customers.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

• ❌ Creating fake or fraudulent invoices
• ❌ Tax evasion or GST fraud
• ❌ Money laundering activities
• ❌ Illegal business operations
• ❌ Violating any laws or regulations
• ❌ Impersonating other businesses
• ❌ Hacking or unauthorized access attempts
• ❌ Distributing malware or viruses
• ❌ Spamming or unsolicited communications
• ❌ Reselling or sublicensing the software

6. Data and Content

6.1 Your Data

• You own all data you input into PBILL
• You are responsible for data accuracy
• You must ensure GST compliance of your invoices
• You can export your data anytime

6.2 Our Responsibility

• We provide the platform and tools
• We store your data securely
• We do NOT verify invoice accuracy or tax compliance
• You are solely responsible for GST filing and compliance

7. Service Availability

• We aim for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance
• We are not liable for temporary service disruptions
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

• You can cancel your account anytime
• Download your data before cancellation
• Refunds as per Refund Policy (see separate policy)

8.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms & Conditions
• You engage in fraudulent activities
• You use the service for illegal purposes
• Payment is not received (after grace period)
• We detect security threats from your account

9. Limitation of Liability

PBILL is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We are NOT liable for:

• ❌ Tax penalties due to incorrect invoice data
• ❌ GST filing errors or delays
• ❌ Business losses or lost profits
• ❌ Data loss (ensure regular backups)
• ❌ Third-party payment gateway failures
• ❌ Government portal downtimes

Maximum Liability: Limited to the subscription fee paid in the last 12 months.

10. Intellectual Property

• PBILL software, code, and design are our intellectual property
• You receive a license to use, not own, the software
• You cannot copy, modify, or redistribute the software
• PBILL name and logo are our trademarks

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Refunds and Cancellations

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete details on refunds, cancellations, and subscription management.

13. Support

• Phone Support: Available for paid subscribers

14. Amendments

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be:

• Notified via email and dashboard notification
• Effective 30 days after notification
• Posted on this page with updated date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your City], India.
