This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains our policies for subscription payments, refunds, cancellations, and related matters.

2. Free Trial Policy
2.1 Trial Period
- ✅ Duration: 4 months from registration date
- ✅ Access: Full access to all features
- ✅ Payment: No payment required for trial
- ✅ Cancellation: No cancellation needed (auto-expires)
2.2 After Trial Expiry
- Account remains but invoice creation is locked
- You can view old invoices
- Upgrade to paid plan to continue
- No automatic charges
3. Payment Policy
3.1 Payment Methods
- PhonePe UPI
- Debit/Credit Cards
- Net Banking
- UPI (Google Pay, Paytm, etc.)
3.2 Payment Processing
- Payments processed via PhonePe gateway
- Subscription activates immediately on successful payment
- Receipt sent via email
- GST invoice provided for business records
3.3 Failed Payments
- You will be notified of payment failure
- Retry payment within 7 days
- Account remains locked until payment succeeds
- No penalty for failed payments
4. Refund Policy
✅ Eligible for Refund
4.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied within 7 days of payment:
- ✅ Full refund (₹600)
- ✅ No questions asked
- ✅ Processed within 5-7 business days
- ✅ Refunded to original payment method
4.2 Technical Issues
If service is unavailable due to our technical problems:
- ✅ Downtime exceeding 7 days: Full refund
- ✅ Partial downtime: Pro-rated refund
- ✅ Or extension of subscription period
4.3 Duplicate Payment
- ✅ Full refund of duplicate charge
- ✅ Processed within 3-5 business days
❌ NOT Eligible for Refund
4.4 No Refund Cases
- ❌ After 7 days of payment
- ❌ Partial subscription period (no pro-rata refunds after 7 days)
- ❌ Change of mind after 7 days
- ❌ Account termination for policy violations
- ❌ Free trial expiry (no payment made)
- ❌ Incorrect GST filing (user responsibility)
- ❌ Third-party payment gateway charges
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Cancel Anytime
- You can cancel your subscription anytime
- No cancellation fee
- Download your data before cancellation
5.2 How to Cancel
- Login to your PBILL account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
- Download your data
5.3 After Cancellation
- Access continues until subscription period ends
- No refund for remaining period (unless within 7 days)
- Data retained for 30 days
- Can reactivate within 30 days
- After 30 days, data permanently deleted
6. Subscription Renewal
⚠️ No Auto-Renewal
PBILL does NOT automatically renew subscriptions. You must manually renew before expiry.
6.1 Renewal Process
- You'll receive reminder 15 days before expiry
- Login and click "Renew Subscription"
- Make payment (₹600)
- Subscription extended for another year
6.2 Expired Subscription
- Account locked (cannot create invoices)
- Can view old data
- 7-day grace period to renew
- After grace period, data may be deleted
7. Refund Process
7.1 How to Request Refund
- Email: refund@p-bill.com
- Subject: "Refund Request - [Your Mobile Number]"
- Include: Transaction ID, Payment date, Reason
- Attach: Payment screenshot

7.3 Refund Method
- Refunded to original payment method only
- Bank account: Direct transfer
- Card: Credit back to card
- UPI: Credit to UPI ID
8. Upgrade/Downgrade
Currently, only one plan available (₹600/year). Future plans:
- If multiple plans introduced, upgrade/downgrade allowed
- Price difference adjusted pro-rata
- Changes effective immediately
9. Special Circumstances
9.1 Business Closure
- If you close your business permanently
- Provide proof (GST cancellation certificate)
- Pro-rated refund may be considered (case-by-case)
9.2 Service Discontinuation
- If we discontinue PBILL service
- You'll be notified 90 days in advance
- Full refund for unused period
- Data export assistance provided
10. Disputes
In case of payment disputes:
- Contact support@p-bill.com first
- We'll resolve within 7 business days
- If unresolved, escalate to JTAX2022@GMAIL.COM
- Final decision within 15 days
